Wake Up Mississippi
Pregnancy Resources of Mississippi, PROMISS, is launching a public service announcement (PSA) contest entitled, “Wake Up Mississippi!” Mississippi currently ranks number one in the nation for teen pregnancy. We hope to receive entries from Mississippi 's youth that address this problem and encourage people in Mississippi to Wake Up and respond to this epidemic. Entries may be in audio or video format and must address the issue of teen pregnancy. We are open to new approaches and encourage all students in grades nine– college to submit their entries. The entries may use forms of drama, comedy, or narrative to address teen pregnancy and must be received no later than March 1, 2010. This is a great chance to highlight your organization and show off your talent! Winning entries will be aired throughout Mississippi and winners will have their photo taken for an article to be published in local newspapers.
