Stock Market Game
Register now for participation in the Stock Market Game at www.stockmarketgame.org ( http://www.stockmarketgame.org/ ). The Stock Market Game has been shown to significantly raise math and financial literacy scores of students who participate. The program is a simulation where teachers place their students in teams and the teams invest $100,000 in hypothetical cash in the real market. The curriculum is aligned to state standards in math, social studies and language arts. A state competition for students with the grand prize of an all expense paid trip to New York City is provided thanks to the support of Merrill Lynch, BancorpSouth, Entergy, State Farm Insurance, the Clarion-Ledger and Trustmark.
